As the pizza chain celebrates its 65th anniversary, Little Caesars has unveiled its latest growth plans.
The Detroit, Michigan-based company has reached agreements for expansion across the United States with the opening of 23 new restaurants.
New locations include Albuquerque, New Mexico; Baltimore, Maryland; Brooklyn, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Dallas, Texas; Los Angeles; and Greenville, South Carolina. Little Caesars said that it has hosted multiple grand openings in recent months, including three new locations in New York.
Northeast expansion is being fueled by a commitment made by restaurateurs Suhel Ahmed and Saurabh Desai, Little Caesars said. The duo plan to open 10 new locations throughout New York City by 2026 and have more than 40 combined years of experience in the restaurant space industry.
“Over the past few years, we’ve taken steps to continue to meet the demands and preferences of franchisees and guests alike. As we celebrate our 65th anniversary, we’re thrilled to see our franchisees’ hard work come to fruition and encouraged by the significant strides we’ve made so far this year as a brand,” said Patrick Cunningham, vice president of U.S. Development at Little Caesars. “With several new deals and grand openings on the way, we’re excited about the future of Little Caesars and look forward to giving guests more opportunities to enjoy their favorite menu items nationwide.”
In other recent developments, Kiren Patel, with his team at Sagacity Ventures, acquired more than 30 Little Caesars restaurants across the Northeast and is committed to opening additional locations in the Baltimore market, according to Little Caesars.
The franchise group’s goal is to expand to 50 locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Maryland.

Little Caesars also said that is, “committed to bringing the brand to consumers across a variety of non-traditional locations.” This plan calls for openings in university towns and college campuses, casinos, amusement parks, hospitals, zoos and airports.
The third-largest chain in the $145 billion global pizza industry said that it is seeking qualified multi-unit franchise operators to join its in the Northeast, Pacific Northwest, New Orleans, and North and South Carolina. Little Caesars was founded by Mike and Marian Ilitch in 1959 as a single, family-owned restaurant. The company currently operates restaurants in each of the 50 U.S. states and 28 countries and territories.
