The Red Chickz, West Coast franchise that specializes in serving up Nashville fried chicken, is entering Oklahoma.
Through its first franchise agreement in Oklahoma, Red Chickz said it plans to bring its sizzling flavors to Oklahoma City. The location is being lead by new franchisee Jau Riaz.

In January, The Red Chick announced a new agreement in New Jersey. This includes stops in Princeton and Mays Landing, N.J. following a franchise agreement with Kevin and Arpan Patel. The franchise also said new franchise locations are in the works for Gloucester Township, N.J. and Mantua, Washington.
Earlier this year, Red Chickz opened its first restaurant outside of California with its Cypress, Texas location.
The Red Chickz offers options ranging from Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches in seven spice levels to the Honey Butter Sandwich and Nashville Hot Chicken Tacos.

Regarding its strategy for the year, The Red Chickz previously announced that it plans to sign agreements for 45 new stores while pursuing nationwide growth, the company said. About 26 new locations are already in development. Currently, The Red Chickz has five locations in California and Texas.
