Locations continue to open through a franchise agreement with BraveHart Development.

One of the fastest-growing restaurant chains has brought its “Aloha Spirit” to Iowa, again.
Hawaiian Bros, with specialty dishes, including a variety of juicy chicken or pork glazed with sweet, savory or spicy sauces, has opened in Waukee, Iowa. The opening marks the second Hawaiian Bros restaurant opened by BraveHart Development LLC in the Iowa market.
“We’re looking forward to continue expanding with the second BraveHart Hospitality opening of a Hawaiian Bros location in Iowa,” said David Pedelty, partner at BraveHart Development LLC. “As part of our ambitious plan to establish 10 locations across Iowa over the next few years, we are excited to share our island-inspired flavors and the Aloha Spirit with the Waukee community.”
The location marked the event with a grand opening celebration on March 10. The first 100 customers received a free t-shirt and Hawaiian Bros gift cards ranging in value from $25 to $500. One lucky winner was slated to receive Hawaiian Bros meals for a year.
A VIP event was also held on March 8, with first responders, medical personnel, academic staff, students, and local business employees treated to a Hawaiian Bros’ classic “Plate Lunch.”
The Aloha Spirit at Hawaiian Bros translates into showing kindness and respect while treating everyone as ohana, or like family.

This latest location is part of a franchise agreement with BraveHart that was signed in 2023. The agreement calls for 10 restaurants altogether in Iowa.
