Beans & Brews boasts strong Q1

The coffee shop franchise plans to open 25 locations this year.

Beans & Brews Coffee House is off to a solid start in 2026.

During its first quarter, the franchise opened six new locations in three states and reports that it has seven total openings in the first 100 days of 2026. Beans & Brews said this is the most successful development period in company history with five of the new openings taking place in the last month.

New openings include locations in Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and Texas. Altogether, Beans & Brews has more than 90 locations in 6 states, including Arizona and Idaho,  with another 75 coffee houses in development.

Beans & Brews said part of its expansion strategy  is diversifying its footprint through traditional storefronts and non-traditional locations. This includes partnerships with grocery chains and developers while introducing the brand to new audiences.

In Price Utah, a Beans & Brews Coffee House shop is situated inside Lin’s Fresh Market, a regional grocery store chain operated by Associated Food Stores. The opening of the Utah location provided the brand with its strongest opening weekend for a location in company history. The drive-thru location replaced a former Starbucks.

Beans & Brew said its growth is being fueled by first-time franchise owners, experienced operators opening additional locations, and corporate partnerships.

Last year Beans & Brews opened 11 new locations. This year, 25 locations are planned with one of the brand’s largest franchisees committed to opening 8 new locations in the next 16 months. Once the plan is completed, the franchisee will operate 14 units, according to Beans & Brews.

The brand was founded in 1993 and began franchising in 2004, accompanied by the slogan of “High-Altitude Roading.” Beans & Brews notes that it uses a signature process while roasting its coffee at the lowest possible temperature for the shortest amount of time. The menu at Beans & Brews also includes frozen drinks, teas, energy drinks, and a variety of healthy food options as well as options aimed at kids.
