RNR Tire Express revs up in New England

The tire and auto retail franchise brings flexible payment options to Massachusetts.

RNR Tire Express, a franchise retailer of tires and custom wheels, is expanding in New England.

The brand announced that it is entering Massachusetts for the first time through an agreement with entrepreneur Matthew Rossini. The new location is expected to open in Brockton this summer.

RNR Tire Express is a portfolio company of DX3 Brands, a multi-brand franchisor. Founded in 2000, RNR has grown to more than 200 locations in 31 states.

Rossini marketing, sales, and leadership experience to his new venture and previously served as vice president of marketing and channel sales at JACO, Inc., a manufacturer located in Franklin, Massachusetts. According to RNR, Rossini played a role in seeing JACO’s market share growth along with its sale to a private equity firm.

“I grew up surrounded by strong values and a hands-on work ethic, and RNR immediately felt like a brand that aligned with that,” said Rossini. “There’s a growing need in this region for a business like RNR, something that provides a real solution to rising costs of living and automotive maintenance. I’m looking forward to bringing that to my own backyard.”

RNR offers flexible payment options and says it provides the professional installation of “safe, quality tires and custom wheels to a growing market of underserved consumers. Consumers.” This includes millions of drivers with disposable income who pay upwards of $1,200 for out-of-pocket, unexpected tire expenses.

The franchise notes that the rent-to-own industry continues to grow rapidly and is expected to reach a market value of nearly $166 billion by 2033.

Last year, RNR reached a new company record as it reached $350 million in system-wide revenue for the first time. RNR said most of its locations hit $2 million in sales on an annual basis but some of its locations are seeing sales of $3 million to $4 million.
