The sauna studio franchise has more plans for 10 states.
Perspire Sauna Studio, specializing in infrared and red-light therapy, has reached a new company benchmark.
The sauna franchise announced that it now has 100 studio locations following the opening of its Del Mar, California location. Originally founded in 2010 with a franchising program initiated in 2018, Perspire Sauna Studio operates in 27 states.
According to the sauna service brand, its growth has been fueled by a loyal member base along with a “national movement toward sustainable, ritual-based self-care.” The new California location being operated and owned by franchisee Kiki Barnes.
“Reaching 100 open studios is a proud moment that represents a growing community that values the power of recovery,” said Lee Braun, founder and CEO of Perspire Sauna Studio. “What started as one studio in Costa Mesa has evolved into a national movement helping people reduce stress, lower inflammation and improve overall longevity.”
Every Perspire studio offers full-spectrum infrared sauna and red-light therapy where guests can relax and recharge in private, spa-like suites. In 2024, Perspire also launched SNØ Showers, which complements infrared heat with a 45° Fahrenheit cold rainfall shower.
Looking ahead, Perspire has awarded over 280 franchise licenses to date, with new studios slated to open in California, Connecticut, Washington, Illinois, New York, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Kentucky and North Carolina in the coming months.
