The food and beverage franchise’s latest agreement targets the Boulder market.

A new franchise agreement will deepen Bad Ass Coffee’s presence in Colorado.
Terms of a signed multi-unit agreement calls for three new locations in the Boulder, Colorado market. The initial location is slated to open this August with additional locations planned for Lakewood and Castle Rock
Bad Ass Coffee said this agreement is part of the Hawaii-based company’s larger strategy of developing locations in “high-potential markets” across the country.
Entrepreneur Beth Deasy is behind the signed agreement, bringing two decades of experience in franchising to the table. Deasy’s background also includes corporate law, real estate, and business development. She previously served as an Army officer before transitioning to a legal career and worked as a corporate real estate attorney and employment litigator before moving in-house at an education company.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii was founded in 1989 on the Big Island of Hawaii. The franchise says it is dedicated to to sharing premium Hawaiian coffees “with a kick” from the Hawaiian Islands through nearly 40 U.S. franchise locations in addition to more than 100 shops in various stages of development. Along with coffee, the brand serves drinks, teas, food, and Big Ass Coffee merchandise.

In Colorado, Bad Ass Coffee also has locations in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Peyton.
The company said that it continues to look for partners, including potential franchisees who are seeking multi-unit opportunities. Franchisees can expect a total investment range between $454,200 – 920,500.
As International Franchise Association VetFran members, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii said that it offers veteran franchisees who join a $10,000 discount off the initial franchise fee.
Bad Ass Coffee also provides a development support system, including teams, technology, and tools to help identify the right territories for expansion, plus expertise in financing, real estate, and construction management, to assist franchisees and multi-unit operators.
