Primrose Schools, the early education and child care franchise, said that it has focused on “aggressive expansion” in the early stages of 2025.
According to the franchise, growth has been driven by high demand for early education and child care. Since January, Primrose School has signed 19 new franchise agreements.
Additionally, more than 40 new locations are slated to open this year. Founded in 1982, there are more than 500 Primrose schools in 34 states and Washington, D.C.
“We are proud of our franchise system’s national recognition and exceptional growth and excited about our strategic expansion into key areas nationwide,” said Nick Koros, chief development officer at Primrose Schools. “We invite entrepreneurs seeking business opportunities that enable them to do well by doing good to join us. Our dedicated franchise owners, committed to service excellence and community impact, are the driving force behind our success.”
Key urban markets in the expansion mix include Detroit, Kansas City, Memphis, and Phoenix. Primrose Schools also said that it is “actively seeking real estate and franchise partnerships to secure additional locations in these markets.”

“The FUND Top$core Award is a reflection of our commitment to constant advancement and support to ensure the success of our franchise owners,” said Koros said. “Their entrepreneurial spirit drives our brand forward, and this achievement empowers us to enhance our focus on serving even more children nationwide.”
Primrose accepted the award during a ceremony at the annual Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, held at the Caesars Forum conference facility in Las Vegas.
