The deal calls for 25 new locations in the Empire State’s key markets.
Rising fast casual brand Chicken Salad Chick announced that it has signed its largest franchise development agreement to date.
And the move will bring the chicken salad restaurant concept franchise to major hubs throughout upstate New York.
The latest move by Chicken Salad Chick is expected to bring the restaurant to major markets in the state including Albany, Rochester, Syracuse, and the Hudson Valley region with 25 locations in development.
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Chicken Salad Chick has more than 330 locations in 22 states. Last year, the brand reached nearly 100 new restaurant deals and 42 locations in 14 states in what was a record year for the company.
Regarding the agreement in New York, Chicken Salad Chick said it represents a big benchmark for future growth. The company recently opened development opportunities in both New York and neighboring New Jersey.

The franchise said additional territories across both New York and New Jersey remain available for franchise owners. This agreement will mark Chicken Salad Chick’s entery into New York and the Northeast. The majority of the brand’s existing locations are in the Southeast.
Following the deal in New York, more growth is on the way with Chicken Salad Chick saying it has over 300 locations in its development pipeline. Last month, the company opened new locations in Texas, Florida, Ohio, and Missouri.
Chicken Salad Chick serves full-flavored, Southern-style chicken salad with more than a dozen salad flavors plus fresh sides, soups, sandwiches, desserts and catering.
