Nextaff, the staffing solutions franchise, has a new vice president of franchise development.
Newly appointed executive John-Reed McDonald brings more than 20 years of staffing and franchise experience to the position, according to Nextaff.
“We are excited to have John-Reed join our executive team,” said Cary Daniel, co-founder and CEO of Nextaff. “John-Reed comes in at a perfect time as we expand our franchise options. His background in traditional and virtual franchising models will be a perfect match for our future growth.”
Founded in 1998 and based in Overland Park, Kansas, Nextaff began franchising in 2004. The company has since grown to more than 30 franchised offices in over 20 states. Nextaff works in several employment verticals, including commercial, healthcare, and technology staffing.
“I’m thrilled to join Nextaff and support its mission of empowering franchise owners to deliver exceptional staffing solutions to both clients and candidates,” said McDonald. “The staffing industry is one of the noblest professions – connecting people with meaningful work while helping businesses reach their goals. I’m excited to be part of a team that makes such a powerful impact every day. With 25 years of experience in the industry, I’m eager to contribute to Nextaff’s dynamic, forward-thinking leadership and hit the ground running.”
Next said it helps companies recruit, screen and hire quality talent through a proprietary “X-FACTOR” model. The business also notes that it uses a comprehensive approach that is designed to considerably outperform a traditional temp agency supplier model.
In recent months, Nextaff has been busy in regard to franchisee locations.
In May, Nextaff welcomed its newest healthcare staffing agency in Northern Virginia. The office is owned and operated by Richard Kindel, a veteran of the healthcare staffing industry.
“Rich brings a high level of staffing expertise and knowledge to Nextaff,” said Cary Daniel, Co-Founder and CEO of Nextaff. “I believe Rich and his team have the opportunity to be one of our top-performing locations within 12 months, and I’m excited to see what he can do.”
A month prior, Nextaff announced a change in ownership of multiple staffing agencies in Phoenix, Arizona. The offices, previously owned by John Snellings, have been acquired by 20-year staffing industry veteran Matt Kolder.
“Between the healthcare and commercial and industrial space, we have close to 15,000 people that are looking for work, interested in work and ready to work,” Kolder said. “We look forward to connecting the dots, getting them out in the workforce, and finding clients who need their help.”
