Blue Kangaroo Packoutz specializes in documenting, packing, restoring, and cleaning property contents after disaster strikes.

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz has a pair of new franchise locations on its roster.

This month the latest location is opening in Blaine, Minnesota. This location is owned and operated by Scott Engman. Scott has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including leadership roles within the operations, workforce planning, technology and program management spaces. Scott will be assisted in daily operations by his son Zach, who will be leading field and warehouse operations, and their development manager Quinn Woods.

Another location is scheduled to open in Grimes, Iowa on March 1, which will be owned and operated by husband and wife team Bobby and Joy Johnson. Bobby and Joy both have extensive backgrounds in sales and marketing, and started their own marketing consulting group that they have been successfully running for the past two years, according to Blue Kangaroo.

“Soon after starting our marketing and sales consulting group, Joy and I decided it was time to take the next step in our careers as business owners,” said Bobby Johnson, co-owner of Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Central Iowa. “As we weighed our options, Blue Kangaroo Packoutz immediately stood out as a business that would allow us to help people through difficult times in their lives.”

The franchise specializes in methods to inventory, document, pack, restore, and clean the contents of a property after disaster strikes, such as fires and floods.

Johnson said that helped make his franchise decision is the company’s culture and its “both of which became immediately apparent during our first visit to their corporate office.”

“As we embark on this exciting new chapter in our careers, we are looking forward to building relationships with local property owners in need of our services,” Johnson said.

In the Twin Cities market, Engman said he was ready to go into business for himself and embark on a new chapter in his career. While analyzing various franchises, Engman said that Blue Kangaroo was ahead of the pack.

“When I first started looking into potential business opportunities, Blue Kangaroo Packoutz immediately stood out thanks to its outstanding market potential and the amazing support system among fellow Blue Kangaroo Packoutz franchise owners and across the BELFOR Franchise Group network as a whole,”

Blue Kangaroo says that it has a proven track record of expertly restoring various sentimental items, from furniture and valuable artwork to precious photographs and beloved family heirlooms.

“Even though Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is still a fairly young company, we are recognized as one of the fastest growing restoration companies in the nation,” said Tim Fagan, president of Blue Kangaroo Packoutz. “I believe much of this is due to our unique focus on contents restoration services that allow us to get customers’ belongings back to them as efficiently as possible. As this location becomes an established facet of its community, our whole team looks forward to seeing the positive impact Bobby and Joy will make on a local scale.”

Blue Kangaroo was founded in 2019 and is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The franchise now has more than 70 locations in over 30 states
