Multiconsult ASA (OSE: MULTI) is proud to report the results of the fourth quarter ending in 2023. The company has seen 20.8% growth in net operating revenues for the quarter, amounting to NOK 1,361.5 million, and a 14.6% growth for the full year, totaling NOK 4,802.5 million. This growth can be attributed to the organization’s high activity, strong talent capacity, and overall excellent operational performance.
The performance of the fourth quarter was improved by a higher billing ratio, high average billing rates, and improved project execution. It was, however, negatively impacted by one-offs related to the announced share ownership program and restructuring costs.
The company’s board of directors has proposed a dividend of NOK 8.00 per share to be paid as an ordinary dividend for 2023.
During the year, Multiconsult ASA experienced significant order intake, totaling NOK 6,926 million, with an additional NOK 1,431 million in the fourth quarter. These results reflect a strong and diversified order backlog going into 2024.
There has been a robust M&A activity, with four strategic acquisitions announced since the last quarter. Multiconsult ASA has increased its full-time equivalents (FTE) by 11.5%, resulting in a total of 3,523 FTE at the end of the fourth quarter. The company’s overall market outlook has slightly improved compared to the previous quarter, despite ongoing uncertainty.
The successful onboarding, training of new hires, and additional hiring have led to a higher billing ratio of 71.8% in the fourth quarter. Multiconsult ASA is pleased to have over 80% of its employees as owners, resulting from a successfully launched share ownership program.
