Unitus Community Credit Union Partners with iGrad to Offer Award-Winning Financial Wellness Platform to Members
Unitus Community Credit Union has announced its partnership with San Diego-based financial education company iGrad to offer the Enrich™ financial wellness platform to its vast membership base of over 100,000 members. This personalized financial wellness program features the Your Money Personality™ financial behavior assessment, which provides in-depth analysis of each user’s financial “personality.” Additionally, the platform offers financial education courses, retirement and home affordability analyzers, student loan and higher education tools, personal finance calculators, and a real-time budget tool.
Unitus President and CEO Steven Stapp expressed his excitement about the partnership, explaining that Unitus selected the Enrich platform due to its robust bilingual content that will help members navigate their financial journeys. Stapp emphasized that whether members are just starting to save, working to repair their credit, or planning for retirement, they will find tools to help them reach their unique financial goals.
The Enrich platform’s use of artificial intelligence technology personalizes the experience for each user based on their financial situation and stage of life. It has been utilized by more than 20,000 employers and 300 financial institutions nationwide. The platform aims to address the significant impact of financial stress on individuals, with statistics from a 2021 Capital One CreditWise survey indicating that 73 percent of Americans perceive their finances as the most significant source of stress.
Enrich data from January 2020 to December 2021 revealed that users experienced notable improvements in financial wellness, including an increase in users who reported being on track with saving for their goals, contributing to their retirement savings plan, building up an emergency savings, and paying off credit card debt in full monthly. Users also reported a decrease in financial stress, with nearly 36 percent attributing that reduction to using the Enrich platform.
Enrich vice president of business development, Todd Woodlee, highlighted the positive impact of improved financial wellness on overall quality of life, emphasizing that the platform contributes to Unitus Community Credit Union’s commitment to enhancing the financial wellness of its members.
