The fitness franchise looks to open five new locations in the Lone Star State.
Studio Pilates International, the rising global fitness franchise, has eyes on big growth in Texas.
On Nov. 8, Studio Pilates opened a location in North Plano and has plans for four additional openings in the coming months. The franchise said it has identified Texas as a key growth market, driven by strong demand for premium, low-impact fitness and community-focused wellness.
In the Dallas region, multi-studio franchisees David de Prez and Alyson Baynes will lead expansion across North Plano, McKinney, West Plano and Windsong, while Elizabeth Perez-Montes and Edison Montes bring the brand to Missouri City in the greater Houston area. San Antonio and additional Texas markets will follow, according to Studio Pilates.

The company was founded in Australia in 2002 by husband-and-wife duo Jade Winter, an Olympic athlete, and Tanya Winter, a physical therapist. Studio Pilates International says it delivers a science-backed Reformer Pilates experience centered on form, safety, and measurable results. It also provides signature 40-minute classes led by highly trained instructors and enhanced by proprietary technology. Classes are designed and suited for all ages and fitness levels.

Other openings on the horizon include Elk Grove, California; Columbia, South Carolina; Boston, Massachusetts; Hudson Square, New York; Ocala, Florida; and West 57th Street, New York. More studios are also on the way in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
