Five Star Franchising welcomes Five Star Flooring

A home services giant is expanding their franchise offerings with a brand that applies everything they’ve learned about one industry in order to disrupt another.

Five Star Franchising announced this week that they have acquired and launched the Five Star Flooring brand. With the launch, Five Star Flooring becomes Five Star Franchising’s seventh brand, alongside Bio-One crime scene and hazard clean-up, Card My Yard yard signs, Five Star Bath Solutions bathroom remodeling, Gotcha Covered custom window treatments, Mosquito Shield pest control, and 1-800-Packouts property restoration and cleaning.

Five Star Flooring’s goal is to disrupt the $75 billion flooring market by streamlining the process of selecting a new floor and getting it installed. The new flooring franchise leverages the same in-home, showroom-free concierge model that helped grow the Five Star Bath Solutions brand into a consumer favorite.

“Homeowners want turnkey improvement solutions and floor remodeling is no different,” said Scott Abbott, CEO and co-founder of Five Star Franchising. “They are overwhelmed by massive showrooms, unclear pricing, unreliable service and a disconnected experience. From start to finish, Five Star Flooring provides a simplified process. And for driven business leaders, it’s a low overhead, high-margin home service franchise opportunity, backed by the power of our platform.”

Five Star Flooring is the brainchild of brand president Dean Hartley, who previously helped grow the Five Star Bath Solutions brand into an industry leader with close to 400 locations across the U.S.

“Five Star Flooring takes the exact battle-tested blueprint that has made Five Star Bath Solutions a national category leader and applied it to a highly fragmented industry,” said Hartley. “We didn’t invent flooring and we aren’t just another flooring company; we’re solving a problem for homeowners and offering a revenue operations machine for our future franchise owners.”

Across their seven brands, Five Star Franchising currently operates over 1,700 locations in North America. They offer franchisees a centralized support team and toolkit that includes in-house marketing services, a network of trusted vendors, and lead management resources.

The Five Star Franchising team believes Five Star Flooring will be an extremely attractive model to prospective franchisees, as it offers them the flexibility to deliver great service and align exactly with customer needs without being weighed down by showroom expenses and other overhead.
