The shipping franchise has promoted Dan Cox and Brett Monson.

Annex Brands, the packing, shipping, and office services franchise, has made a pair of executive appointments.
The San Diego, California-based company announced that it has promoted Dan Cox to the position of vice president of franchise services. Additionally, Annex Brands has promoted Brett Monson and named him as the company’s first ever vice president of technology and logistics.
Cox has been serving as the executive director of franchise services, with a focus on the retail business segments of Annex Brands. His relationship with Annex Brands started in the year 2000 as a PostalAnnex franchisee until 2005, when he joined the home office in franchise services. Annex Brands said for more than 20 years Cox has been “a company point person when communicating with shipping carriers, suppliers, vendors, and franchisees.”

Annex Brands licenses and franchises over 800 locations across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The company’s brands include PostalAnnex, Pak Mail, AIM Mail Centers, Parcel Plus, Sunshine Pack & Ship, Navis Pack & Ship, and Handle With Care Packaging Store.

The new vice president of technology and logistics has been serving as executive director of technology and logistics at Annex Brands, with a focus on commercial business. Monson began his relationship with Annex Brands in 2011 with the acquisition of the Navis Pack & Ship franchise system.
For over 14 years, Monson has led Annex Brands’ efforts to advance its proprietary technology, ABConnect Operating System, which is utilized by their commercial franchise system. The company said that Monson will continue to take on a more public role under his new position.
