PIRTEK USA, the hydraulic and industrial hose service provider, has reported a torrid first quarter when it comes to expansion moves.
The company said it initiated the year with 20 new territories and opened 10 new locations for the first period of 2025. This includes fresh expansion into the states of Kansas and Delaware.
Among 20 new territories that were signed in the first quarter, a total of 16 were awarded to new franchisees who are joining PIRTEK for the first time. Another four include existing franchisee owners. The 10 new locations that were opened include 6 first-time franchisees.
Overall, PIRTEK USA has more than 500 franchise locations in 24 countries with more than 150 located in the United States.
“We’re seeing continued strong interest from entrepreneurs across the country who recognize the value and staying power of the PIRTEK model,” said John Dobelbower, vice president of franchise development at PIRTEK USA. “The combination of essential service, high demand, and operational support makes this a compelling opportunity, whether you’re new to franchising or looking to grow an existing business portfolio.”
John Baker, the owner of PIRTEK Waco in Waco, Texas expanded his business during the first quarter through the opening of a second location in Temple. Baker has also signed an agreement to develop a third territory in Tyler-Longview. That location is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year.
“After seeing the demand and success in the Waco market, it became clear that there was a significant opportunity to expand throughout Central Texas,” said Baker. “The PIRTEK model has been incredibly effective in providing a much-needed service to businesses in our area, and I’m excited to bring that same level of reliability and support to more businesses and communities throughout the region.”
PIRTEK notes that it onboards potential franchisees who “prioritize customer service.” Quick turnarounds for its customers is also essential with the company saying that it prides itself on “quickly and efficiently filling customers’ hose service needs, having the widest variety of superior products and parts to keep essential projects running.”
The initial investment for a PIRTEK location ranges from $216,400 to $619,300 with franchisees receiving extensive in-person and online training, ongoing support, and exclusive territories, according to the company.
Jesse West, a seasoned banking executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience is operating PIRTEK KCMO, covering Kansas City, North Kansas City, Belton, Grandview, Lee’s Summit, and Raymore, Missouri. PIRTEK said that it named Kansas City as a key target market earlier this year, and within just a few weeks, awarded all available territories to two “strong franchise groups.”
“PIRTEK gives me the opportunity to serve my community while building something sustainable and impactful,” said West. “I’m excited to bring a business to Kansas City that helps keep essential industries operating and provides real value to customers.”
On the Kansas side, a family team of Billy Norris, Laycie Norris, and Cody Norris are launching PIRTEK Kansas City, Kansas (KCK) as a Tier 1 location. The franchisee trio has more than three decades of combined corporate experience in operations, human resources, sales, and finance. Territories being developed include Olathe, Overland Park, and Northland, Kansas.
“Selling out a priority market like Kansas City in under 60 days reflects the momentum of our brand and the strength of our offering,” Dobelbower said. “These franchisees are a perfect match for the PIRTEK model. They bring experience, vision, and a collaborative spirit to this new market.”
