The franchise and omnichannel retailer is entering Hawaii for the first time.

After setting a strong pace for franchisee agreements and store openings last year, Batteries Plus didn’t unplug the charger in the first quarter of 2025.
The omnichannel retailer and franchise reported that it signed 17 new franchisee agreements and opened 8 new locations in 7 states during the period. This includes key signings with Batteries Plus debuting in Hawaii in addition to expansion moves in Florida, New York, Texas.
According to Batteries Plus, the brand is set to have locations that are either open or in development in all 50 U.S. states by the end of the year.

Hawaii marks the 48th state Batteries Plus has entered. The location is operated by Peirre Parranto who saw great opportunities for the retailer when he needed batteries, light bulbs, and more for other business ventures he owned, Batteries Plus said.
