Home renovation franchise, Ideal Siding, has unveiled a new program aimed at commercial buildings and customers.

The company’s new Commercial Support Program is designed to help franchisees expand their business to larger scale projects. This includes multi-family developments, townhomes, and commercial buildings.

Ideal Siding has served homeowners in the United States and Canada through more than 95 locations. But demand for commercial work has continued to grow. According to Ideal Siding, the new program meets the needs of commercial customers through “a more structured approach.” Prior, commercial work has been handled on a case by cases basis.

“Commercial opportunities started surfacing more frequently as our network grew,” said Alex Filipuk, founder and CEO of Ideal Siding. “But this type of work is fundamentally different from residential projects. It requires a deeper understanding of construction documents, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and careful navigation of contracts and risk. We built this program to make that transition more accessible and to support our franchisees every step of the way.”

Company support now helps franchisees connect to local commercial pipelines, general contractors, and property managers. Franchisees also receive guidance when it comes to reviewing drawings, preparing estimates, navigating contracts, permits, documents, and the bidding process.

The new program is already providing big opportunities for franchisees. In Texas, franchisee Aaron Lay is leading a siding replacement project at a 18-unit residential complex that is estimated at about $800,000.

“A project of this scale comes with a lot of moving parts,” said Lay. “Having support with estimating, proposals and contract details has made a real difference and allows us to stay focused on execution.”

Filipuk adds that commercial work is “a natural evolution of our system.” Last year, the company saw double-digit openings and new franchisee agreements.

“By combining the local expertise of our franchise owners with centralized support, we’re creating a model that allows our teams to grow their businesses while maintaining the quality and reliability our brand is known for,” the CEO said.

The company maintains U.S. headquarters in Seattle, Washington and has aspirations of growing to 300 locations.
