Floor Coverings International continues expansion with their 100+ new franchisees

Last year, Floor Coverings International (FCI) signed 101 new franchisees to become part of their mobile, in-home custom flooring business. As we approach the end of the first quarter of 2026, that aggressive development is already translating into territory expansion and new business.

Georgia-based FCI recently launched new franchises in Chicago, IL and Fairfield County, CT as part of a strategic markets initiative. As of print, they currently operate more than 250 locations in 42 states and three Canadian provinces. Their upcoming focus areas for expansion include the Northeast, Texas, and California.

FCI President and CEO Tom Wood lauded the brand and pipeline growth, saying, “Last year, we really set the standard for how we want to expand moving forward.”
