76 Fence, the fencing solutions franchise, has opened its latest locations in North Carolina.

Cornelius and Concord are the sites of the pair of new 76 Fence franchise locations. They are owned and operated by Drew and Kristin Myers who are long-time residents of Cornelius.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Dec. 6 at a new corporate office in Cornelius. This move is designed to bring premium fence solutions to the North Charlotte and Concord markets, including residential and commercial customers.

“We are thrilled to officially open the doors of 76 Fence here, serving North Charlotte and Concord,” Drew said. “Kristin and I have poured our hearts into this business with the goal of not only providing exceptional fencing solutions but also supporting the people and organizations that make this region so special.”

With these additions, 76 Fence now operates five locations in Illinois, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Another two Tennessee locations are in development, according to 76 Fence’s website.

The franchise provides a full array of fence styles and materials including vinyl (PVS), chain link, wood, metal, and composite materials. Fencing designs are available in a variety of designs and uses such as pet safety, schools, warehouses, pools, athletic fields, and backyard privacy, among other purposes.

“We are thrilled to officially open the doors of 76 Fence here, serving North Charlotte and Concord,” said Drew Myers, co-owner of 76 Fence. “Kristin and I have poured our hearts into this business with the goal of not only providing exceptional fencing solutions but also supporting the people and organizations that make this region so special. We look forward to building strong connections with our customers and contributing to the community for years to come.”

76 Fence says it offers streamlined customer experience with free estimates, on-the-spot quotes, and homeowner’s association support. The business also noted that it is deeply committed to community involvement, partnering with local organizations and sponsoring youth programs.

This is the second big move made by a building materials and home improvement franchise this month.

Earlier in December, Sam the Concrete Man announced a new financial partnership with Eagle Merchant Partners, a private equity firm with a focus on franchise investment. As a result of the partnership, Sam The Concrete Man said that it will look to double its franchise locations within the next year. The plan calls for the company to then steadily expand its location count.

Based in Denver, Colorado, and founded in 1989, Sam The Concrete Man has locations in more than 30 U.S. states. In August, the company announced it had expanded into Canada with locations in Toronto and Vancouver.

In regard to 76 Fence’s new North Carolina locations, William Russell, president and CEO of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, said having a new family-owned business is vital to the region’s economic and social fabric.

“Drew and Kristin exemplify the spirit of entrepreneurship that drives growth and innovation in our community,” said Russell. “Their dedication to providing quality services while creating jobs and supporting local causes makes them a valued addition to our business landscape.”
