Grease Monkey, the flagship brand of FullSpeed Automotive, reported that it has made great expansion strides in the past year.
Since September 2024, Grease Monkey has added 47 locations to its footprint. Now the brand plans to double its size over the next three years.
Grease Monkey provides oil changes along with auto services including brake repairs, battery replacements, A/C repairs, and more. There are more than 450 Grease Monkey auto centers in the United States, China, Colombia, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia.
“We’re very excited about the explosive growth we’re seeing across the country,” said Ron Stilwell, president of FullSpeed Automotive. “Between new franchise candidates entering our system and our existing franchisees continuing to expand, we have the ability to double our franchise footprint over the next three years, and we’re on pace to reach that target.”
New openings include a next-generation “Store of the Future” prototype in Jerome and Twin Falls, Idaho; Denver, North Carolina; Phoenix, Arizona; and Florida. The new store design is expected to improve the guest experience while increasing operational efficiency for franchisees.
New features include express oil change lanes, appointment scheduling, state-of-the-art technology with a new point-of-sale system, and updated lounge areas with refreshments.
“I believe Grease Monkey’s growth has accelerated because of the culture we’ve built around People, Purpose, and a Passion for excellence,” Stilwell noted. “It all starts with hiring and pit crew certifying crew members who our guests can trust with their vehicles. From there, it’s the passion our franchisees and their teams bring to delivering an exceptional experience that truly sets us apart from other brands.”
Grease Monkey says the aftermarket auto industry is expected to grow by 5.1% in 2025. Other expansion plans see new stores being added in key markets within Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, South Dakota, California and Texas.
The brand notes that it is looking to bring on qualified and engaged individuals seeking single, multi-unit, and conversion opportunities. For more information, visit greasemonkeyfranchise.com.
