The fresh protein shake brand has launched a new app with loyalty features.

Fresh Monkee, a franchise focused on fresh protein shakes, announced it has reached 31 locations.
The brand also said it plans to open five more locations by end of the year. Another 30 stores are on the company’s calendar and slated to open in the coming months. Founded by Judy Flynn in Wethersfield, Connecticut in 2014, Fresh Monkee is now in 13 states.
“This growth is beyond anything we imagined,” said Flynn. “From one small shop to a national powerhouse with 31 open stores and dozens more on the way — plus launching our own app — it’s a remarkable moment for our entire Fresh Monkee family.”
Fresh Monkee specializes in serving “clean” protein shakes that don’t include sugars, syrups, or artificial ingredients. Shakes are made to order, packed with protein, and include real fruits and vegetables, the company said.
Other developments at Fresh Monkee include a new app that allows users to order ahead, redeem rewards, and “enjoy a seamless loyalty experience,” the company said. The app went live on Dec. 9.

Television host and actor Mario Lopez has joined Fresh Monkee as a franchise partner to help spearhead expansion throughout California. “I’ve had a lot of protein shakes in my life — and most don’t make the cut,” Lopez said. “Fresh Monkee is clean, delicious, and actually filling. I’m excited to help bring it to California and support a brand that puts health first.”
