Experienced franchisees look to develop five locations.

Pet care franchise Sparkle Grooming announced a sizable move for Florida.
The dog grooming brand has awarded five franchise licenses, in the greater Tampa market, to entrepreneurs Kendal Podesta and Scott Pace. The move is for expansion in South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Largo, Tyrone, and Brandon, Florida.
According to Sparkle Grooming, the franchisees are experienced franchise owners who currently own and operate multiple Chicken Salad Chick locations. The duo’s portfolio also includes Ballast Security, one of the state’s largest private security firms.

Founded in 2022 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Sparkle Grooming has awarded 376 licenses across 21 states. According to its website, Sparkle currently operates nine locations in Arizona, Colorado, New Jersey, Ohio, and Utah.
Earlier this month, Sparkle announced that it reached a five-unit franchise agreement in the Dallas, Texas market.
The fast-growing dog grooming franchise reports that it signed a development agreement with franchise partners David Futrell and Jeff Etter. According to Sparkle Grooming, the duo have a background in quick-service restaurants (QSR), franchising, finance, and multi-unit growth.
