Great Ubisoft Franchises That Seem Unlikely To Ever Make A Comeback

Top Ubisoft Franchises That May Never See a Resurgence

Ubisoft, known for successful game franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, also has some titles that have lost their momentum over the years. Blazing Angels, a WW2 flight combat game, struggled to gather a large fan following due to frustrating missions and gameplay elements. Trials, known for its addictive and challenging physics-based gameplay, peaked in 2012 and has seen a decline since. Watch Dogs, with its interactive open-world hacking gameplay, had a successful start but faltered with Watch Dogs Legion, leaving fans doubtful of any future releases. Brothers In Arms, a tactical WW2 squad shooter with a canceled sequel, also seems unlikely to see a resurgence anytime soon. Lastly, Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X, a flight combat game set in the near future, failed to captivate audiences due to repetitive missions and competition with the Ace Combat series. Though these franchises may have a dedicated fan base, their lack of recent releases suggests they may not be making a comeback anytime soon.
