Bernardo Santos, General Manager of the Guadalajara and Tonala Sites in Mexico, shared the mission for the new facility, emphasizing the focus on fostering a collaborative environment where cutting-edge technology and local talent converge to drive success and contribute to economic development in the region.
Matthew Behringer, Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations Development, discussed the significant role the Tonala Site will play in USI’s expansion strategy, enabling the company to enhance service capabilities and better meet the needs of clients in the dynamic North American market.

USI’s sustainability program, which achieved a 100% Green Electricity Ratio in 2023 at the GDL factory, will soon extend to the Tonalá factory, further showcasing the company’s dedication to environmental stewardship.
Local officials also expressed their support for USI’s investment in the region, with Roberto Arechederra, Jalisco Governor’s Rep., and Sergio Chavez, Mayor of Tonala Municipality, acknowledging the positive impact of the new site on the local economy and job market.
