Theresa Tremmel-Anderson of Sussex, Wisconsin, has been recognized as the Woman of the Month for September 2024 by P.O.W.E.R. Magazine for her exceptional accomplishments in the field of trucking. As the owner of Tremmel-Anderson Trucking, Theresa has over 38 years of experience in providing a wide range of trucking services including heavy excavating, broken concrete hauling, paving, demolition, snow removal, and more.
Having been exposed to the trucking industry from a young age, Theresa took over the family business at 16 and eventually became the sole owner of Theresa Tremmel Trucking. In 2001, she expanded her business by creating Tremmel-Anderson Trucking, bringing her children Crystal and Chad on board as partners. Crystal and Chad have both shown a passion for the industry, with Chad obtaining his CDL at 18 and driving on job sites daily.
Throughout her career, Theresa has built a strong network of reliable truck brokers, granting her access to over 100 trucks in addition to her own fleet. She attributes her success to being a strong leader and her commitment to those she works with. Theresa values a good work ethic and makes her truckers feel like part of her extended family.
In addition to her business success, Theresa is actively involved in the community and has worked with the Department of Transportation to improve state-used CRCS. She is also a mentor to many minority companies and a member of NAMC. Theresa has been previously recognized as the Woman of the Month by P.O.W.E.R. Magazine in April 2024 and was featured on Times Square billboards in June 2024.
