Monday, February 9, 2024, Poland – SOFAR unveils pioneering renewable energy solutions at the ENEX. As the driving force of all-scenario photovoltaic and energy storage solutions, SOFAR excels across the residential, commercial, industrial, and utilities sectors with their solar innovation offerings perfect for the Polish market.
The energy storage market in Poland is on the rise, particularly with increased solar installations. The PowerIn has taken Poland’s commercial and industrial sector by storm, offering a storage solution that gives end users unprecedented flexibility. By beginning with the installation of the inverter and later adding storage as more is required, PowerIn accommodates for scalable energy requirements. PowerIn allows for the installation of batteries with a minimum capacity of 20 kWh, with added room for expanding the capacity once battery capacity requirements are known. Furthermore, the installation of PowerIn is incredibly straightforward. Unlike traditional systems, no crane is required thanks to the modular batteries, which weigh only 47 kg. With PowerIn, the entire installation can be effortlessly carried out by two individuals.
In addition to the PowerIn, SOFAR also introduces the HYD 5K~20KTL-3PH and BTS E5~E20-DS5 as supplementary storage options. Compared to conventional BESS (battery energy storage system) for residential buildings, these systems are distinguishable for their capacity for flexible expansion. Each battery unit comes equipped with an integrated PCU for optimizing energy use. Other solutions in the line-up include the PowerNano microinverter system, the 25K~50KTL inverter series, the PowerMega 350kW PV system, and the PowerMaster ESS system.
Since SOFAR’s entry into the Polish market in 2014, the region’s demanding customers have propelled the company to great success. Market research pins SOFAR as the TOP2 inverter supplier in Poland, having sold PV and hybrid inverters with a total capacity exceeding 1 GW in 2022. “Poland is a vital market for us in Europe. With robust sales channels and extensive local services such as Energynat, Solfinity, and Corab, we are determined to support Poland’s push towards a net-zero future by delivering high-quality products and fostering strong partnerships,” emphasizes Allen Cao, Head of SOFAR Europe.
Boasting a wide-ranging portfolio of PV inverters, hybrid inverters, BESS, utility ESS, micro inverter systems, and the intelligent energy management system SOFAR Monitor, SOFAR stands as a global leader in solar and storage solutions for all scenarios. As of 2021, SOFAR is counted among the TOP 5 global hybrid inverter brands, and it has established a global R&D network of three R&D and two production sites. Further, SOFAR aims to reach an annual production capacity of 10 GW of inverters and 1 GWh of batteries in 2022. It is notable that by 2022, SOFAR has delivered inverters with a total capacity exceeding 18 GW to over 100 countries and regions worldwide.
