Slim Chickens has recently signed a 25-unit agreement with an existing franchisee group, Big Star Chicken, to expand its presence across Ohio. With locations already in Austin and San Antonio, Texas, Big Star Chicken will bring Slim Chickens to Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus. Founded in 2003, Slim Chickens boasts over 250 locations nationwide.
Jack in the Box is also making moves, signing multi-unit agreements in Florida and Michigan. With a 10-unit deal in the Orlando area with Ed Zausch and a 5-unit agreement in Michigan with Niraj Patel, Jack in the Box is set for expansion in these regions.
Another breakfast brand, Eggs Up Grill, has inked a couple of four-unit agreements to grow its footprint in Austin, Texas. These deals include partnerships with husband-and-wife team Michael and Rana Boselah and another duo, Megan Hood and Omar Thompson.
Scooter’s Coffee has partnered with real estate developers John Rennie and Brad Barre to open new locations in Louisiana and Texas. Vicious Biscuit, a fast-casual breakfast and brunch concept, has also signed a 5-unit agreement for Utah with Eric Price and Andy Barron at the helm.
On the burger front, Smalls Sliders has entered into a 5-unit agreement for Houston with Lisa Albert and Steve Knight. Perspire Sauna Studio, a wellness brand, inked a 3-unit deal with Michael Sobhi and Michael Baffa in Fairfax County, Virginia.
Juice concept Sip Fresh is expanding in Florida with a 3-unit agreement in Tampa, Orlando, and Sarasota, led by Marine Corps veteran Ryan McGrail. Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is bringing its offerings to Las Vegas with a 3-unit agreement with entrepreneur Umang Patel.
Zaxby’s is making moves in the Dallas market with a 3-unit deal with the Sigwell Group, led by Jade Sigler and Derald Powell. Marble Slab Creamery is set to develop 40 units in Canada under Canadian Ice Cream Co. And Wayback Burgers has signed a master franchise agreement for the United Arab Emirates with Stellar International LLC.
Lastly, Dryable, a hair styling brand, has inked a 26-unit agreement for expansion in Qatar, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates through master franchisee Lekhraib Rose LLC. With a focus on growth and development across various regions, these brands are set to make their mark in the international franchise market.
