Boston, MA, July 19, 2024 – GTC is proud to announce the addition of Shea to their data privacy practice. With over a decade of experience in privacy and data protection law, Shea brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to GTC’s team.
Shea has worked with multinational companies across various industries, providing them with strategic and practical advice on building and adapting their global privacy and security programs. She is certified in CIPP/US and CIPP/E by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, allowing her to offer tailored guidance on privacy and cybersecurity issues such as regulatory compliance, risk management, security assessments, and more.
In addition to her experience in privacy and security compliance programs, Shea also specializes in advising clients on privacy compliance for emerging technologies like biometrics, artificial intelligence, and AdTech. She helps clients navigate the legal and regulatory landscape while facilitating business growth and innovation.
Prior to joining GTC, Shea served as Counsel at Squire Patton Boggs, LLP. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Government from The Ohio State University and a J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
