Pvolve, a fitness franchise with a focus on strengthening and mobilizing the body, is boasting strong growth numbers for the year.
The New York-based franchise reported that it now has nearly 30 locations open and expects to reach 40 openings by the end of the year. About 50 fitness studios are currently in development. The company also notes that five studios are in the pre-sale stage while another five are in lease reviews.
According to Pvolve, this is the fastest stage of growth in the company’s history.
“Our development pipeline has never been stronger,” said Alex Puccillo, executive director of franchise development at Pvolve. “Five new leases and growing presale activity show how excited consumers are about the Pvolve method and how confident entrepreneurs are in our model. The energy across our system is incredible, and this is only the beginning.”
The latest signed leases include sites for Pvolve studios in San Francisco, California; Pleasantville, New York; Scottsdale, Arizona; San Antonio, Texas; and Louisville, Kentucky
“As we look back on the first half of the year, what stands out to me is the incredible momentum building around this brand,” said Julie Cartwright, president of Pvolve. “Every new studio represents people coming together to strengthen their bodies and their confidence, and every new franchise partner brings passion and vision to our mission. The energy we’re seeing right now makes me so excited for what’s ahead in the second half of the year and beyond.”
Regarding future growth, Pvolve said it is focused on high-growth U.S. regions including Texas, Florida, North Carolina and other metro markets. The company also said it is seeking single- and multi-unit operators who are passionate about health, wellness and building community through functional fitness.
Pvolve was launched by founder Rachel Katzman in 2017. In 2003, the brand partnered with actress Jennifer Aniston.
Through its hybrid fitness model, Pvolve said it can be experienced through a streaming membership that offers over 1,500 on-demand classes, a two-way, live virtual studio, and targeted series, all available via the web and mobile apps.
