NoliQ, a wellness company based in Atlanta, is set to launch its first ready-to-drink product on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 15, 2024). Founder Nyina Muigai, a physician, Ironman triathlete, and licensed mixologist, was inspired to create the new line after receiving positive feedback from clients who enjoyed the non-alcoholic cocktails at her mobile bar service events.
The launch event will feature a virtual live stream dance party at 7pm ET, complete with a dance instructor and live sober DJ, to introduce the new beverage line. The line features three flavors: the “MargnoliQa,” a smoky twist on a traditional margarita, the “Gingerberry Burst,” inspired by the mint in a traditional Mojito, and the “Amaretto Sawa,” catering to those who prefer a sweeter and nuttier profile. Each can has 45 calories, low sugar content, and is enriched with vitamins and minerals.
NoliQ’s vision is to provide resources and tools to support individuals who are cutting back from drinking and exploring a sober lifestyle. Through the company’s social media accounts and blog, followers can access information about clinical studies and wellness lifestyle promotion. Muigai hopes to build a community and bring like-minded individuals together to share experiences and support each other on their journey to a healthier, alcohol-free lifestyle.
The vibrant print packaging and drink names of NoliQ’s products are inspired by Muigai’s rich African culture. The word “Sawa” in the “Amaretto Sawa” flavor is Swahili for “good.” NoliQ also aims to support individuals on their sober journey through initiatives like sober travel trips, such as the recent trip to Kenya where 10 American travelers experienced the country without consuming alcohol.
NoliQ’s goal is to inspire individuals to live a healthier, vibrant, alcohol-free lifestyle while pursuing their goals and ambitions. The company’s drinks are made with premium natural ingredients and audacious flavors, infused with vitamins and minerals to satisfy a sophisticated palate and complement a dynamic lifestyle.
