NFL star Xavien Howard sued for sharing ‘revenge porn’ with minor son

Former Miami Dolphins star Xavien Howard is facing serious allegations of sharing explicit photos and videos of women, as well as texting sexual images to one victim’s son, according to a recent lawsuit filed in Broward County, Fla. The lawsuit alleges that Howard released the explicit content in order to humiliate the victims and cause them emotional distress.

One victim, identified as “Jane Doe,” had been in an exclusive relationship with Howard in 2016. After the relationship ended, Jane Doe received messages from an unidentified woman claiming that Howard had shared videos of him engaging in sexual activities with various women, including Jane Doe. When Jane Doe confronted Howard about the videos, he allegedly admitted to sharing them in order to make her mad.

The lawsuit also alleges that Howard filmed and took photos of Jane Doe without her knowledge while they were engaging in sexual acts. In addition, Jane Doe’s son, identified as “John Doe,” who was a minor at the time, claims that Howard sent him disturbing content while he was dating John Doe’s mother. According to the lawsuit, Howard went on a “warpath” against John Doe’s mother after she refused to have an abortion following her pregnancy.

The victims claim that Howard’s actions were an invasion of their privacy and constituted sexual cyberharassment. Revenge porn, or the nonconsensual distribution of sexually explicit images or videos, has been illegal in Florida since 2015. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, neither victim has pursued criminal charges at this time.

Jane Doe is seeking damages of over $50,000 in the lawsuit, according to court documents obtained by Local 10 News. The case highlights the importance of protecting the privacy and dignity of individuals in online spaces, and serves as a reminder of the legal consequences of engaging in revenge porn or other forms of cyberharassment.

It is crucial for individuals to understand the laws surrounding the distribution of explicit content without consent, and to respect the boundaries and autonomy of others in intimate relationships. The case involving Xavien Howard serves as a cautionary tale about the potential consequences of violating these laws and engaging in harmful behaviors online.
