Detective Conan: The Million-Dollar Pentagram has taken the Japanese anime franchise by storm, raking in $89.6m (¥14.1bn) at the box office and solidifying its status as the most successful Japanese film of 2024 so far. The 27th installment of the beloved Detective Conan series has captured the hearts of fans, reaching 9.77 million admissions as of May 27 and securing a spot as the 12th highest-grossing Japanese film of all time in the local market.

This latest adventure follows the young detective Conan Edogawa, created by manga artist Gosho Aoyama, as he solves another gripping case.
