Carol Henning-Franczyk of Philadelphia was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence Recognized) for her exceptional work in the nonprofit sector. She currently serves as the vice president of the Broken Wings Literacy Center, a nonprofit organization in Philadelphia that focuses on providing educational and mental health services to children living in poverty.
Henning-Franczyk has a long history of dedication to improving the lives of children and families. She has held various roles in organizations such as the Philadelphia Department of Human Services, where she advocated for the systemic resources needed to support vulnerable families.
