The 66th annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday night at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, honoring a new group of musical talents across various genres. Country music was well-represented at the awards show, with Lainey Wilson taking home her first-ever Grammy for Best Country Album with her record “Bell Bottom Country.”
In addition to Wilson’s win during the prime time telecast, Nashville creators such as Chris Stapleton, Brandy Clark, Jason Isbell, and more were awarded with Grammys at the premiere ceremony prior to the telecast.
The Grammy Awards also recognized winners in other categories, including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best New Artist, and several country music-specific categories such as Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
Lainey Wilson’s victory in the Best Country Album category was a highlight for the country music community, and she was in good company with other country music winners such as Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell.
These wins reflect the continued impact and influence of country music on the broader music industry, as well as the talent and artistry of country music artists and creators.
