JELD-WEN recently announced the appointment of a new senior leadership team to drive operational excellence, customer relationships, and increase business agility in order to take its business and customer base to even greater heights. Mr. William J. Christensen, General Manager, has expressed a commitment to bringing in new leaders with significant manufacturing expertise, devoted to enhancing and promoting the growth of the company’s core business while adding value to customers, associates, and shareholders.
JELD-WEN will continue to manage and operate its business as two separate entities in North America and Europe with an expectation to see distinct regional reports in future. This decision is part of JELD-WEN’s strategy to ensure effective management of resources and continued growth in both geographical segments.
The new executive appointments, all reporting to Mr. Christensen, include:
1. Gustavo Vianna as Executive Vice President and President of JELD-WEN Europe, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in multinational companies. Previously, he led 4,500 employees across 17 factories and 24 distribution centers in Europe.
2. Dan Valenti, who joins the company as the Executive Vice President of doors and distribution for North America, with over two decades of experience in general management and operations leadership.
3. Matt Meier as the Executive Vice President and Head of Digital and Information, offering over 25 years of global experience on a multitude of technology platforms.
4. Dan Jacobs, the current Vice President and General Manager of windows for North America, who brings his 15 years of experience within JELD-WEN in various business areas.
5. Peggie Bolan, the current Vice President and General Manager of construction products and fibers for North America, with over 25 years of industry-specific experience.
Additionally, several other key positions will provide shared services across both business segments. These areas include finance, legal, human resources, and global transformation.
