IGT Extends Contracts with Mississippi Lottery for Additional Three Years
International Game Technology PLC announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, has extended its contracts with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation for an additional three years. This move will allow IGT to continue providing online gaming systems and instant ticket services to the Mississippi Lottery through December 1, 2029. As part of the agreements, IGT will introduce a mobile convenience app, new GameTouch™ 28 self-service terminals, and the Sales Wizard retail automation tool.
Jeff Hewitt, the President of the Mississippi Lottery Corporation, expressed excitement about continuing to work with IGT to enhance operations and provide quality entertainment to players. IGT Chief Operating Officer, Global Lottery, Jay Gendron, highlighted the company’s expertise in helping the Mississippi Lottery exceed its sales objectives over the years.
The new mobile app from the Mississippi Lottery will offer players various conveniences, including checking winning numbers, creating digital playslips, and accessing game information. IGT will also deploy additional GameTouch 28 machines to enhance player engagement and flexibility. The Sales Wizard tool will provide the Lottery’s sales teams with valuable insights to identify growth opportunities.
IGT’s partnership with the Mississippi Lottery aligns with the goal of funding educational opportunities throughout the state. The After School Advantage program plans to open more digital technology labs in Mississippi, building on the success of existing labs. Additionally, IGT will continue to support students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Mississippi through annual scholarship contributions.
