iGrad, a leading financial wellness technology company, has recently been honored with the 2023 Excellence in Financial Literacy Education (EIFLE) Adults’ Education Organization of the Year award by the Institute for Financial Literacy. This marks the fourth time that iGrad has received an EIFLE award, recognizing the company’s commitment to financial education and innovative programs.
The San Diego-based company, founded by President Rob LaBreche in 2009, has been providing tailored financial wellness solutions to an extensive range of clients, including 2.7 million students at 650 colleges and universities, over 20,000 employers, and more than 300 financial institutions.
Executive director of the Institute for Financial Literacy, Rachel Gordon, commended iGrad for its outstanding education programs, specifically highlighting the addition of innovative behavioral components to their comprehensive financial wellness program and their ongoing commitment to effective financial education.
Acknowledging the honor, LaBreche expressed iGrad’s dedication to providing robust, engaging, and accessible platforms that not only educate users but also help establish positive long-term financial behaviors. This commitment is in response to the increasing need for improved financial literacy across all ages and income levels, as supported by multiple surveys and studies.
Donna Miller, iGrad’s Vice President of Business Development, accepted the award at a ceremony in San Juan, Puerto Rico in April. The EIFLE Awards, established in 2007, aims to promote the effective delivery of consumer financial products, services, and education by recognizing the accomplishments of those that advance financial literacy education.
iGrad’s Enrich™ financial wellness platform for employers and its iGrad™ student financial wellness program have been previously recognized, contributing to the company’s track record of excellence in financial literacy education.
