Hypatia Capital and How Women Lead Form Partnership with WCEO ETF to Advocate for Increased Investment in Women in Leadership Across Asset Classes

A new collaborative partnership has been announced between How Women Lead, a nonprofit network of over 20,000 corporate women leaders, and Hypatia Capital, advisor to the Hypatia Women CEO ETF (WCEO). This partnership aims to promote more investment in women in leadership across all asset classes.

Patricia Lizarraga, managing partner of Hypatia Capital, expressed excitement about the collaboration with How Women Lead’s movement, The New Table. This movement encourages women to invest early, invest often, and invest in women. Lizarraga believes that this partnership is perfectly complementary to the WCEO ETF, which focuses on the outperformance of women in leadership.

Julie Castro Abrams, CEO of How Women Lead and Managing Partner of How Women Invest, emphasized the importance of inspiring women investors and showcasing the prowess of female CEOs. She cited a Boston Consulting Group report, which found that companies founded or co-founded by women generated 10% higher cumulative revenue over a five-year period.

The WCEO ETF, which is traded on the NYSE, invests in all American public companies with a female CEO, from small to mega cap. Hypatia’s investment thesis is based on the belief that female CEOs will outperform. The ETF aims to deliver this “Female Factor.”

In addition to the potential for outperformance and diversification, the WCEO allows investors to invest for impact. Women CEOs have 80% more women in their leadership teams than male CEOs, leading to a more positive pattern in matching women in leadership roles.

Both WCEO and How Women Lead will hold informative sessions to educate, motivate, and inspire women to invest in women, with the goal of increasing the number of women in leadership.

Hypatia Capital Management, which manages the Hypatia WCEO ETF, can be reached through John Grenawalt at john.grenawalt@hypatiacapital.com or (212) 472-7500.

How Women Lead, How Women Invest, and The New Table strive to activate the collective power of executive women to achieve equity and promote change at all levels. To join The New Table movement, visit https://www.howwomenlead.com/new-table.

Investors interested in the WCEO ETF should carefully consider the investment objectives, risks, and charges of the fund before investing. The fund is distributed by Northern Lights Distributors, LLC, and members can obtain a copy of the prospectus by calling 855-427-7360.

The collaboration between How Women Lead and Hypatia Capital presents an exciting opportunity to reshape the investment landscape and support the advancement of women in leadership. This partnership reflects a commitment to fostering a culture of investment, influence, and impact that will lead to a future where women in leadership roles are the expectation, not the exception.
