Huawei recently unveiled the Financial Partner Go Global Program (FPGGP) at the HiFS Frontier Forum 2024, aiming to collaborate with partners with industry expertise to drive digital transformation in the global financial sector. The initiative seeks to foster innovation among participants and support customers in modernizing their operations from consultation to services.
Jason Cao, vice president and general manager of Huawei’s digital finance division, emphasized the company’s commitment to building a global ecosystem for the digital finance industry. By working with key partners in various industry scenarios, Huawei has developed innovative solutions across different sectors, including infrastructure, application systems, core transactions, big data, banking, insurance, and security.
Since its launch in 2021, the FPGGP program has successfully delivered solutions to over 20 finance industry customers in 14 countries with the help of 11 partners. The program has since expanded to include 24 partners in China, with six becoming board members, such as Sunline, Tongdun Technology, and Netis.
Roger Wang, Vice President of Huawei’s Digital Finance Division and President of Global Partnerships, highlighted the importance of collaboration with leading financial partners to drive joint success through innovative solutions and practices. The FPGGP program aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the financial sector by encouraging more global partners to join, developing scenario-based solutions, and enhancing cooperation within the ecosystem.
As of May 2024, Huawei has served over 3,600 financial customers in more than 60 countries, including 53 of the world’s top 100 banks. The company’s focus on partnership and innovation has positioned it as a key player in driving digital and intelligent transformation within the financial industry.
