Hisense and UEFA Foundation Team Up for “Faith In Young Champions”
Hisense, a global leader in home appliances and consumer electronics, collaborated with the UEFA Foundation during the EURO 2024 tournament to launch the “Faith In Young Champions” initiative. Using innovative robots, children from 22 countries who are hospitalized were able to virtually attend 23 EURO 2024 matches, fulfilling their dreams of experiencing the event despite their physical limitations.
Through this initiative, children had the opportunity to interact with exclusive areas such as the warm-up zone, locker room, and VIP section, allowing them to connect with their favorite players and teams like never before.
As part of their commitment to improving the lives of children, Hisense provided state-of-the-art commercial products, including interactive displays, to a hospital in South Africa. The children had the chance to learn about this technology through interactive activities with volunteers, while the hospital could utilize it for daily office functions, enhancing efficiency and convenience.
The UEFA Foundation, a charitable organization founded in 2015, shares Hisense’s commitment to youth care and social responsibility. Fans of EURO 2024 saw the “BECAUSE EVERY CHILD IS A CHAMPION” slogan displayed on LED boards at the pitch side, aligning perfectly with the “Faith In Young Champions” initiative.
Carine Nkoue, General Secretary of the UEFA Foundation, praised the collaboration, emphasizing football as a platform for solidarity projects. She encouraged others to support the global initiative and join the activities of the UEFA Foundation for children.
