One of America’s favorite sandwich shops is about to hand out some major lettuce to their franchisees.
Firehouse of America LLC, the franchisor of the Firehouse Subs brand, announced the launch of their Development Incentive Programs this week. The programs, which will run through at least 2028, offer $75,000 for qualified franchisees committed to building one restaurant and $100,000 per location to entrepreneurs who develop multiple restaurants.
“Our brand’s development incentive program is truly unique and was specifically created to grow with the best franchisees,” said Mike Hancock, President of the Firehouse Subs brand. “Firehouse Subs has real momentum with some of our strongest new restaurant growth numbers in years, and we’re just getting started. If you’re an experienced operator looking for a brand that’s going to put real money behind your success, this is it. We’re excited to build something big together.”
In addition to the general incentive, Firehouse is launching three new programs: 10 in 2, Grow A-Gain, and the Accelerated Market Incentive.
Under the 10 in 2 Incentive program, franchisees who open ten restaurants during 2027 and 2028 can also earn an additional $500,000 achievement bonus. The Grow A-Gain Incentive offers $150,000 per new location to current Firehouse franchisees with an “A” operations grade who haven’t opened a new restaurant in more than five years. The Accelerated Market program provides $150,000 per restaurant and a three-year, 2% royalty reduction for franchisees who develop multiple locations in priority markets.

As Firehouse continues to build on their strong 2025 development year, they’re actively looking for franchisees to open restaurants in the New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington DC, Minneapolis, San Diego, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Providence markets.
