Elizabeth Kiss Wins 2024 ODK Laurel Crown Award

The Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundation Board of Trustees recently awarded Elizabeth Kiss, Warden of Rhodes House and CEO of the Rhodes Trust, with the prestigious Laurel Crowned Circle Award. This award, first presented in 1980, is the highest individual honor given by Omicron Delta Kappa to exceptional leaders who have made significant contributions to leadership development. Kiss, a graduate of Davidson College, was recognized for her outstanding achievements in education and service.

The award ceremony took place at The City Club of Washington in Washington, D.C. on August 24, 2024, where Kiss was acknowledged for her remarkable career in education. Prior to her current role, Kiss served as the President of Agnes Scott College, where she implemented innovative programs focused on leadership development and global learning. During her tenure, the college saw a 21% increase in enrollment and an 87% retention rate.
