South Carolina Kicks Off Early Voting Period for November Election
As the November election approaches, South Carolinians are heading to the polls earlier than ever, with the early voting period officially commencing on October 21 and running through November 2. Every county across South Carolina is equipped with at least one early voting location open to registered voters, with many counties offering multiple sites. Early voting centers will be operational daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Sundays. To successfully cast a ballot, voters must present an acceptable photo ID, which can include a South Carolina driver’s license, voter registration card with a photo, military ID, or U.S. passport. For those who prefer to vote on Election Day, in-person voting will still be available on November 5. Additionally, eligible voters who wish to request a mail-in absentee ballot must do so by this Friday.
