The collaboration between Doctor Who and Star Trek will highlight shared values of friendship, hope, and fandom through fan celebrations, digital activations, and special giveaways. Fans can also enjoy a unique gallery experience titled “Friendship is Universal” in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. This special exhibit will showcase original costumes and props from both franchises, emphasizing themes of friendship and camaraderie.
The Intergalactic Friendship Panel: Star Trek x Doctor Who at San Diego Comic-Con will feature a discussion between Alex Kurtzman and Russell T Davies on storytelling in alternative universes and the power of friendship. Attendees will receive a special Doctor Who X Star Trek poster designed by artist Dusty Abell.
The “Friendship is Universal” activation will be open from Thursday, July 25 to Sunday, July 28, featuring photo opportunities for fans and special friendship bracelet giveaways. Admission is free, and no badge is required for entry, making it accessible to all attendees.
