Skai Jackson, former Disney Channel star, was recently arrested for domestic battery after an alleged altercation with her boyfriend. The 22-year-old actress was taken into custody in Los Angeles after security personnel at Universal Studios witnessed a heated argument between the couple. Although both Jackson and her boyfriend deny any physical altercation occurred, video footage reportedly shows Jackson pushing her partner multiple times. She was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery, cited, and released a few hours later.
Despite the incident, Jackson has insisted that she and her boyfriend are happily engaged and expecting a baby together, although she has kept her relationship largely private on social media. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is expected to review the case to determine if any formal charges will be filed.
Jackson first gained fame as a child actress on the Disney Channel shows “Jessie” and “Bunk’d.” She has since appeared in the “Marvel Rising” animated series and the 2022 film “Sheroes,” as well as competing on season 29 of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2020.
