Dill Dinkers, a rapidly-growing indoor pickleball franchise, has inked a new deal for the Las Vegas market.
Through a new regional development agreement, Dill Dinkers announced that it would look to development 20 units into Las Vegas and Clark County, Nevada. Dill Dinkers said that the area is one of the fastest growing sports markets in the nation.
According to Dill Dinkers, the agreement is led by Greg Louie, a veteran entrepreneur with more than 23 years as founder and CEO of a marketing company. Louie is joined by his niece Brigette Farwaha, assistant director of facilities and operations at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The duo are also co-hosts of a pickleball podcast called “Third Shot.”
“Pickleball is exploding in popularity, and Southern Nevada is the perfect market for growth,” said Louie. “With Dill Dinkers, we’re excited to create a scalable network of indoor clubs that serve both locals and tourists while delivering long-term value for the communities we serve.”
Dill Dinkers has 20 pickleball locations in 12 states currently open and said it has 380 locations in development.
“Greg and Brigette are exactly the type of franchise partners we look for,” said Dr. Ben Litalien, chief development officer at Dill Dinkers. “Their professional experience, community connections, and enthusiasm for pickleball will drive strong results in Las Vegas. This agreement reinforces Dill Dinkers’ momentum as the premier indoor pickleball franchise nationwide.”
At the end of July, Dill Dinkers also announced a 10-unit deal for the Fresno/Visalia, California market. At the time, this marked the 25th developer Dill Dinkers was working with. This deal is being led Bill and Georgia Revilla, longtime residents in the area.
“We were drawn to pickleball because of its strong community spirit and the positive atmosphere on the courts,” said Bill Revilla said. “We are excited by the enthusiasm for the brand and the Dill Dinkers team for its passionate leadership, excellent brand reputation, and scalability. Being an early adopter of such a pioneering brand is a significant opportunity. Our diverse set of skills and business knowledge will enable us to manage our Dill Dinkers business and support future franchisees. We are excited to provide an inclusive environment where players of all skill levels can enjoy the game of pickleball.”
The couple is working with Michael Doyle with Hughes Marino to locate sites in the area and are in final negotiations for a flagship location.
