Digital therapy improves diabetes care

The second Ambulatory Glucose Profiling (AGP) and Digital Therapeutics (DTx) conference recently took place in Shenzhen, China, bringing together healthcare experts from around the world to discuss the application of AGP in diabetes diagnosis and treatment. Led by the National Innovation Center for Advanced Medical Devices and sponsored by the China AGP and DTx Digital Therapeutics R&D Center, the conference addressed critical topics such as AGP consensus, artificial pancreas system, and digital health management.

One of the key speakers at the event, Professor Andrej Janež from the University of Lublin Medical Center in Slovenia, praised China’s progress in AGP clinical practice. He noted that China has developed an AGP training program and is utilizing AI to enhance diagnosis and treatment decisions, ultimately improving diabetes care and facilitating AGP applications on a global scale.

To further advance diabetes diagnosis and treatment innovation, the AGP&DTx International R&D Consortium was established at the forum. This consortium aims to standardize AGP clinical applications worldwide and provide a platform for international collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of diabetes management.
