Sanofi Consumer HealthCare recently launched the first Impossible Loves Adoption House in Colombia, in conjunction with the Adopt your Allergies campaign. The initiative aims to increase the adoption rate of cats in the country by promoting responsible adoption of sterilized felines.
The press conference, which featured around 30 adorable cats as hosts, provided journalists and content creators with the opportunity to learn more about the campaign and interact with the furry attendees. The event was a huge success, with over 300 adoption applications received by the end of the day.
Sanofi Consumer HealthCare and the Adopta No Compres Foundation collaborated to create the “Impossible Loves Adoption House” in Bogota, a space where potential cat adopters can meet their future feline companions. The campaign is centered around the concept of empowered self-care, combining social responsibility with positive impacts on both people and animals.
Scientific research has shown that the Fel d1 protein, which leads to allergic reactions in humans, is significantly reduced when cats are sterilized. This discovery forms the basis of the Adopt your Allergies campaign, which aims to make it possible for individuals with allergies to enjoy the companionship of a cat without experiencing severe allergic symptoms.
